RedLynx has just released additional details on their upcoming stunt simulation game Monster Trucks Nitro 2. Last week, the development team debuted a rather ambiguous trailer that spiked out anticipation, but left us wanting. Today’s trailer release brings more details to the table with its stunning gameplay footage.
Here’s a run down of what to expect:
Monster Trucks Nitro II -- drive big-engine, 4-wheel beasts over enormous obstacle courses. The new game rolls out advanced game physics, breathtaking 3D graphics, more trucks, all new long levels with various sprint races in each, leaderboards, and many more features:
- Ride High in the Pickup, 6-Wheel ATV, Rocket and MAC
- Fully dynamic, three-dimensional environments
- Wreck cars, demolish track structures, run over trees; destroy just about everything that stands in your way!
- Twenty thrilling tracks with three different sprint levels for each
- In-game money system: Play the tracks, win sprints with increasing challenges, win in-game money, and with that open new tracks and advance to bigger races!
- Player Achievements, Leaderboards for Friends Leagues, National Leagues and Global League.
- Experience more spectacular crashes, more detailed graphics and bigger sounds on the latest iPhone and iPod Touch devices!
We drooled over the intense graphics of the original Monster Trucks Nitro back in March of 2009. Our biggest gripe then was the jerky frame rate. Let’s hope RedLynx and Miniclip have worked out the kinks and deliver the competition a crushing blow with MTN2.
