Your in Algebra class, doodling on your paper, and WOW! Suddenly your ugly little doodle jumps to life.

So your like this is awesome, and the doodle keeps jumping and jumping and jumping and jumping all over your paper, and after a while what seemed so cool, now bores you to the point you decide to focus back on your algebra lesson.

This is pretty much the synopsis of Doodle Jump a pretenseless game created by Lima Sky. We say pretenseless because the title Doodle Jump sums the game up perfectly, and there is not much else (you do have the ability to shoot alien like creatures that get in your way, but its simpler to just keep jumping around them).

The graphics do the game justice because it is supposed to depict a doodled drawing jumping on a page and that is the experience you receive.

There is no soundtrack on Doodle Jump, just some simple bouncing, shooting, dying and monster sound effects. However, if you create your own Doodle Jump playlist on iTunes, press play and BAM! you can jump up and down till your tired, while listening to your favorite tunes.

One thing we really did like about the game, is that while jumping to new hights you get to see other peoples benchmarks reached. So if your one of those people that play games just to beat scores, you will have visual benchmarks to jump over.

As for enjoying a game just for gameplay itself, Lima Sky has created a take it or leave it game at $0.99. It won’t kill you either way.
